-AN. ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, DECLARING CHAPTER 13 3/4 LATE
_NIGHT RETAIL STORES NULL VOID
EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 31, 1992.
WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature at its 1992 session passed
Chapter 92-103 which establishes standards for late night retail
stores; and
WHEREAS, this act preempts the County's local regulations
as of December 31; 1992,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
that;
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT.
Chapter 13 314 Late Night Retail Stores is repealed ani e
chapter declared null anti void.
SECTION- —EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance repealing Chapter 13 3/4 shall become
effective December 31, 1992.

This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press -
Journal on the 29 day of June 1992, for a public hearing to
be held on the 28— day of 1,,l, , 1992, at which time it was
moved for adoption by Commissioner Scurlock and the motion
was seconded by Commissioner Bird and, adopted .by
the following vote:
