ORDINANCE NO. 91- 5
AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING LAND USE MAP FROM RM -8,
MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO RS -6, SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF 49TH STREET (LINDSEY ROAD), APPROXIMATELY
2700 FEET EAST OF 58TH AVENUE (KINGS HIGHWAY), AND DESCRIBED
HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE..
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the
local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing
and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning
request; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County. Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice ot intento
rezone the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that .
phi-srezoning is in conformance—with the—Comprehensive Plan of
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public
hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in
interest and citizens were heard;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of
the following described property situated in Indian River County,
Florida, to -wit:
All of Tract 10, Section 21, Township 32S, Range 39E; less the
east 10 acres thereof and excepting therefrom the following
described property: Beginning at the northwest corner of said
Tract' 10; then southerly along the west line of said Tract 10
a distance of.283.60 feet; thence easterly for a distance of
343.53 feet; thence southerly a distance of 283.60 feet to the
north line of said Tract 10; thence westerly along the said
north line, a distance of 343.53 feet to the point of
beginning. Also less road right-of-way for Lindsey Road.
Be changed from RM -8, Multiple -Family Residential District (up to
8 units/acre) to RS -6, Single -Family Residential District (up to 6
units/acre).
All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and described in
said Zoning Regulations.
Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, on this 26 day of February , 1991.
This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press -Journal
on -the 1 day --of February . 1991—fora public hearing to be
held on the 26 day of February , 1991 at which time it was

moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert , seconded by
Commissioner Wheeler and adopted by the following
vote:
