The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach, on Tuesday, February 2nd 19319 at 10 o'clock A.M. with t following members of the Board present: Albert O.Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; J.W.La- Brace; J.J.P.Hamilton and Eli 0,Walker. Also present were miles Warren, Clerk, and Clark E. Rice, Sheriff. The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved. Y, E. Evans, appeared before the Board and presented bili for $225.00 as salary due him as County Agricultural Agent for the month of January 1931. The same wa,s approved for $45.00 being the amount of his sa4ary from January lot to January 6th 1931. T.B.Hicks appeared before the Board respecting the re -designation of line separati fresh water from salt water in the Sebastian river. The line at present being the F.E.0 By Bridge. It was ordered the Clerk write C.C.Woodward, State Game and Fish Commissions and request permission to change the line as now designated. It was ordered that authority be given the people of Roseland to erect a sign over the Roseland road provided the sign has a clearance of 16 feet. i .M.Knight appeared before the Board and submitted a proposal to sell certain bridge material under his control to the County for use on Vero and quay Bridges. It was ordered that bridge across dyke line at the end of south Winter Beach road in Section 7 be constructed. It was ordered that R.W.Baker, Vero Beach, Florida Box 861 be placed onbthe pauper list to receive $10.00 per month. The County Depository filed its monthly report of receipts and disbursements of the various funds, which having been checked over were found to be correct. The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were ex- amined and found correct were approved and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same The bills and account being on file in the Clerk's office, and the warrants so issued from the respective funds, being listed in the county Finance Record as provided by law, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes as fully and completely as if the said warrants were set out herein in detail.
