TUESDAY, FFBHUARY 17th 1931..
The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at
the Court House in Vero Beach,, on Tuesday, February 17th 19319 with the following
members of the Board present: .Albert U. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; T.N.IaBruce;
J.J.P.Hamilton and Eli C. Walker. also present were Miles Warren, Clerk amd Clark S.
Rice, Sheriff,
The Notary Public bond of J.J.Bustin in the sum of §500.00 with The American
Surety Company, m corporation, of New York as surety was approved.
As provided by law the list of Confederate pensioners living in Indian River
County, Florida, was examined and found to be correct was approved.
A petition was received signed by tax Payers in Sebastian precinct respecting
the re -designation of the line separating fresh and salt water in the Sebastian River.
it was ordered, this petition be filed.
It was ordered Dorothea Holmden, Fellsmere, be placed on the paup6r list to
receive *15.00 per month.
It was ordered Ida. V. Linson, Vero Beach, R.P.D. be placed on the pauper list to
receive 915.00 per month.
Herman J. _ Zeuch appeared before the Board respecting demand made on him for 1929
personal property tax on Osceola Apartments and grange Hotel. Same was taken under
consideration.
The labor pay rolls for work done on the roads of the County having been presented
was examined and found to be correct was approved and warrants ordered issued in
settlement of some. the warrants so issued being listed completely in the County
Finance Record as provided by law, reference to such Finance Record and the list so
recorded being made a part of these minutes as fully and completely as if the same
were set out herein in detail.
There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board
then adjourned until the regular meeting to be held in March 19331:
