A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND
DECLARING A PUBLIC PURPOSE, AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the State of Florida has declared a parcel of land located along
County Road 512 in Indian River County to be surplus State owned real property,
Parcel I.D. 31-37-00-00009-1210-00025.0; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida
('Board") desires to purchase the property described in the sketch and legal description
attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference herein. The property consists of
two triangular parcels on either side of County Road 512 containing 710.14 square feet
on the north side of CR 512 and 452.75 square feet on the south side of CR 512; and
WHEREAS, the Board declares a governmental purpose for purchase of the
parcel; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the County that such property be
purchased: and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
The Board hereby approves the purchase of parcel I.D. 31-37-00-00009-1210-
00025.0 from the State of Florida, at a cost of $375.00 plus recording fees. The parcel is
more specifically described as Town of Fellsmere Block 121 Lots 25 & 26 less road
right-of-way as shown on Exhibit A attached.

The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Day.i s
and the motion was seconded by Commissioner F1 escher , and, upon
being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

Wesley S. Davis, Commissioner Aye
Joseph E. Flescher, Commissioner Aye"
Gary C. Wheeler, Commissioner Ave
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 8th
day of December , 2009.
