A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF DISTRICT HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY
FROM 12TH STREET TO 20TH STREET (SR 60 WEST BOUND), FM #
426250-1-52-01
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation wishes to install and have
maintained by Indian River County certain Roadway improvements within the right of way of Old
Dixie Highway; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to 339.07 and 339.08, Florida Statutes and the American Recovery
and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), the State of Florida Department of Transportation is
authorized to undertake a project within Indian River County's geographical limits and Indian River
County is desirous of having this improvement constructed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BYTHE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the Chairman is authorized to execute District Four
Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement as described above.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner 0' Bryan and the
motion was seconded by Commissioner Flescher and, upon being put to a vote,
the vote was as follows:
Chairman Wesley S. Davis AYE
Vice -Chairman Joseph E. Flescher AYE
Commissioner Gary C. Wheeler ABSENT
Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan AYL_
Commissioner Bob Solari AYE
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 12th day
of May, 2009.
