A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FLORIDA
SUPPORTING THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN'S TAX
ABATEMENT INITIATIVE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has voted to place a tax
abatement initiative on the ballot for the general election to be held in November 2010;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian has undertaken its own tax abatement initiative
and will be holding a special city election in November of 2009;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that it endorses and supports the City of
Sebastian's tax abatement initiative which will be presented to City voters in November
2009.
The foregoing resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner n' Bryan ,
seconded by Commissioner FtescYer and upon being put to a vote for vote was as
follows:
Chairman Wesley S. Davis AYE
Vice Chairman Joseph E. Flescher AYE
Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan AYE
Commissioner Gary C. Wheeler AYE
Commissioner Bob Solari AYE
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this
6th day of October, 2009.
