A RESOLUTION OF THE SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT OF INDIAN
RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING A PORTION OF ATTACHMENT 2
OF THE DISTRICT'S RATE RESOLUTION, RELATING TO TIPPING FEES
FOR CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION
DEBRIS MATERIALS.
WHEREAS, on May 15, 2012, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners adopted
Ordinance No. 2012-011 which amended Chapter 204 - Solid Waste Disposal in a manner which requires a
revision to the tipping fees for certain categories of C&D materials at the County landfill; and
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Disposal District ("SWDD") has previously adopted Rate Resolution No.
95-01, Rate Resolution No. 2004-001 and Rate Resolution No. 2008-001 (collectively, "SWDD Rate
Resolution") which established and amended certain SWDD rates and fees, as set forth on Attachment 2, as
defined in section 204.32 of the IRC Code; and
WHEREAS, it is now appropriate, following public hearing, to further amend the SWDD Rate
Resolution to revise the tipping fees for certain categories of C&D materials, in accordance with Ordinance No.
2012-011, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, acting in its capacity as the governing board of the Solid Waste Disposal District, that Attachment 2 to
the SWDD Rate Resolution is hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A attached to this Resolution, effective
immediately.
The foregoing resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Flescher , and the motion
was seconded by Commissioner Solari and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was, as follows:
