A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, CANCELLING
CERTAIN TAXES UPON PUBLICLY OWNED
LANDS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 196.28,
FLORIDA STATUTES.
WHEREAS, section 196.28, Florida Statutes, allows the Board of
County Commissioners of each County to cancel and discharge any and all liens
for taxes, delinquent or current, held or owned by the county or the state, upon
lands heretofore or hereafter conveyed to or acquired by any agency,
governmental subdivision, or municipality of the state, or the United States, for
road purposes, defense purposes, recreation, reforestation, or other public use;
and
WHEREAS, such cancellation must be by resolution of the Board of
County Commissioners, duly adopted and entered upon its minutes properly
describing such lands and setting forth the public use to which the same are or
will be devoted; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of a certified copy of such resolution, proper
officials of the county and of the state are authorized, empowered, and directed
to make proper entries upon the records to accomplish such cancellation and to
do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of section 196.28, F.S.;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that:
Any and all liens for taxes delinquent or current against_ the_following
described lands, which were purchased through the Neighborhood Stabilization
Program from Fannie Mae a/k/a Federal National Mortgage Association by the
Indian River County Housing Authority are hereby cancelled pursuant to the
authority of section 196.28, F.S.
See attached Special Warranty Deed describing
lands, recorded in Book 2428 at Page 1477, Public
Records of Indian River County, Florida.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Davis , and
the motion was seconded by Commissioner Flescher, and, upon being put to
a vote, the vote was as follows:

This Special Warranty Deed is trade this O day of June, 2010, by FANNIE MAE a/k/a FEDERAL
NATIONAL MORTGAGE ASSOCIATION, organized and existing under the laws of United States of
America, whose mailing address is 13455 Noel Road, Dallas, Texas 75240 ("Grantor"), in favor of
Indian River County Housing Authority, whose mailing address is 1028 20th Place, Suite C, Vero
Beach, FL 32960 ("Grantee"),
WITNESSETH: That Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of $10.00 and other good and valuable
consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, by these presents does grant, bargain, sell,
alien, remise, release, convey and confirm unto Grantee the parcel of real property situated in Indian
River County, Florida, described as follows:
Lot 16, Block 569, SEBASTIAN HIGHLANDS UNIT 17, according to Map or Plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 8, Page(s) 46 (46 through 46 of the Public
Records of Indian River County, Florida.
TOGETHER with all tenements, hereditaments, appurtenances, rights, reversions or reservations
belonging thereto.
SUBJECT to taxes for the year 2010 and subsequent years; conditions, limitations, restrictions and
easements of record which are not reimposed by this instrument and zoning ordinances and government
regulations, if any.
GRANTOR conveys title by Special Warranty Deed without covenants of title or the equivalent for the
State the property is located. Grantor makes no representations or warranties of any kind or nature
whatsoever, whether expressed, implied, implied by law or otherwise, concerning the condition of the title
of the property.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same in fee simple forever.

AND the Grantor hereby covenants with the Grantee that the Grantor is lawfully seized of the real
