A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF DISTRICT FOUR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE LETTER OF
UNDERSTANDING FOR SR -5 (US -1) FROM NORTH OF HIGHLAND
DRIVE MP 0.448 TO SOUTH OF OSLO ROAD MP 1.829, FM# 228583-
4-52-01
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation wishes to install
$378,925.17 worth of landscaping and irrigation within the right-of-way of SR -5 (US -1) from
North of Highland Drive to South of Oslo Road; and
WHEREAS, in consideration of the Department's installation of landscaping
improvements they wish Indian River County to maintain the installed landscaping.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that the Chairman is
authorized to execute District Four Landscape Maintenance Letter of Understanding as
described above.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Davis
and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Flescher , and, upon
being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:
Commissioner Bob Solari, Chairman Aye
Commissioner Gary C. Wheeler, Vice -Chairman Aye
Commissioner Wesley S. Davis Aye
Commissioner Joseph E. Flescher Aye
Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan Aye
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this
7th day of Dec. , 2010.
