A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2009-129, WHICH ADOPTED
RATES, FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
UTILITY SERVICES, AMENDING THE RECLAIMED WATER
RATE PER ONE THOUSAND (1,000) GALLONS AND CREATING
A ONE TIME DUMP FEE FOR SLUDGE AND SEPTAGE FOR
RECREATION VEHICLES. FIRST BY AMENDING THE
RECLAIMED WATER — PER 1,000 GALLONS FROM $0.15 TO
$0.60 AND TO BE INCREASED ANNUALLY FOR FOUR YEARS
BEGINNING ON THE ANNIVERSARY DATE OF THIS
RESOLUTION BY $0.07 PER THOUSAND GALLONS. THEREBY,
CREATING RATES ANNUALLY OF $0.60 PER THOUSAND
GALLONS, $0.67 PER THOUSAND GALLONS, $0.74 PER
THOUSAND GALLONS, $0.81 PER THOUSAND GALLONS AND
ENDING $0.88 PER THOUSAND; AND, CREATING A ONE TIME
DUMP FEE PER RECREATIONAL VEHICLE FOR SEPTAGE
AND SLUDGE OF $10.00 PER DUMP.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article VIII, Section 1 of the Florida Constitution and
Florida Statues section 125.01, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County ("Board") has all powers of local self-government to perform County functions.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desire to incorporate into its
Department of Utility Services Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other
Charges, new Fees for Reuse Water and Recreation Vehicle septage and sludge dumping.
Now therefore, be it resolved that Resolution 2009-129 is amended to adapt the following
Section inclusion into the Department of Utility Services Schedule of Water and Sewer
Rates, Fees and Other Charges.

0 to 13,000 Gallons (Billed Water Flow) Per 1,000 Gallons
Above 13,000 Gallons (Billed Water Flow) Per 1,000 Gallons

Billing Charge — Per Account Per Month
Service Availability Charge [formerly known as Base Facility Charge] Where
Lines Are Available — Per ERU
Service Availability Charge [formerly known as Base Facility Charge}
Where Capacity is Reserved But Lines are not Available — Per ERU
Volume Charge — Per 1,000 Gallons Water Meter Basis
Excess Volume Surcharge — Greater then 7,600 Gallons Per Month — Per ERU*
*Surcharge for Bulk users will apply to flow exceeding total capacity

This Resolution was moved by Commissioner Sol ari and seconded by
Commissioner Wheel er , and upon being part to a vote, the vote was as
follows:
