Announce 2015/2016 Proposed Charge and Budget
Administrator Baird reported that the Solid Waste Disposal District
Budget for fiscal year 2015-2016 is $13,137,435. He said the charges were
going up due to the mandate on recycling. The following are the proposed
charges:
(1) $64.13 per Residential Waste Generation Unit ($102.61 per household)
(2) $35.55 per Commercial Waste Generation Unit
(3) $19.96 readiness-to-use fee
(4) $19.31 per ton Landfill Ash Product Disposal Fee

D. Adopt Tentative Non-Ad Valorem Assessment Rates

ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by Commissioner
Flescher, the Board unanimously adopted the tentative Non-Ad Valorem
assessment rates of $64.13 per Residential Waste Generation Unit; $35.55
per Commercial Waste Generation Unit; $19.96 for Readiness-to-Use Fee;
and the Landfill Ash Product Disposal Fee of$19.31 per ton, for the Solid
Waste Disposal District (SWDD):

ON MOTION by Commissioner Zorc, SECONDED by Vice Chairman
Solari, the Board unanimously adopted the tentative budget of$13,137,435
