Pension Funds ar4 the sum ®f $320.00 be transferred from the I�abliei Fund to the General Revenue Fund and the soot of $525.00 be transferred from the Agricul- tural Fund to the General Revenue Fund to meet the expenditures in said funds for the remainder of this fiscal year. Such transfers to be made only after the approval of sem by the State Comptroller. WhichYesolution was seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously adopted. The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, were examine and found correct were approved and warrants issued in settlement of same. The bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. The warrants issued in settlement of the bills and accounts being listed completely in the County Finance Record as, provided by law, reference to such finance record and - the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes as fully and completely as. if the same were set out herein in detail. The County Depository filed its monthly statement of the various funds showing the receipts and disbursements for the month of June, which having been checked were found to be correct. The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court at Vero Beach in the County of Indian River on this 13th day of July 1931, at the following County Commissioners were presents Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; J.W.LaBruce; J.J.P.Ha;mtlton and Eli C. Walker. The Board continued as a Board of Equalizers for the purpose of hearing complaints and receiving testimony as to the value of any propegty, real, personal or mixed, as fi by the County Tag Assessor of taxes for assessment for the es of the year 19319 the owners and agents of property, who appeared for that purpose, were allowed.. to make; full and complete statements as to the valuation of the property owned or represented by them and the Tax Assessor and the members of the Board having fully discussed the statements facts as presented decided to make no change in the assessment rolls and prepared by the Tax assessor. It was thereupon ordered that the Tax Assessor be. and is hereby instructed to assess ]'the property at the valuation fixed by himself as Tax Assessor.exThett&x baokscbetagarek talbe returned to the Tax Assessor for the purpose of extending. the taxes thereon, after the preparation of the budget, same was returned to him. It was thereupon further ordered, that the matter of preparing the budget for the fiscal. year October lst 1931 --September 30th 1932 be carried over until such time as the State legislature, now in extra -ordinary session, passes the necessary legislation with respect to. the various millages, both State and County. A.E.Sueverkruebbe ' appeared before the Board and informed them that as a tax payer citizen he was opposed to the employment of a County Agricultural Agent and Home Demons tion agent. The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met at the Court House in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock A.M.Tuesday, August 4th 1931, with the following members of the Board present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; J.W.LaBrace, J.J.P.Hamilton and Eli C. Walker. Also present were.mi-les viarren,Clerk, and Clark S. Rice, Sheriff. Commissioner Yongue returned warrant #3189 issued against the General Revenue Fund for the sum.of $5.00 and same was -ordered cancelled. Janes H Donaldson having died, it was ordered he be stricken from the pauper list and Mrs. James H. Donaldson, Winter Beach, be placed on said list to receive the sum of 010.00 per month until further orders of this Board. It was ordered F.G.Fletcher repair the draw on Vero Bridge and make up estimate of necessary repairs on decking and stringers for this bridge and report to the Board. The Vero Beach Press -Journal was designated as the newspaper in which the Acts of the 1931 Legislature shall be published. The hour of 2 o'clock P.M.having arrived bids were opened for the re -oiling of roads in Special Road & Bridge District Ido. 4, and other roads, if necessary, and the following bids were submitted and read: Faulk & Coleman, .2 gal. per square yard at 5X per square yard. .25 gallon per square yard at 5*,e per square yard. A.O.Greynolds, Inc., .2 gallon per square aivd at 4je per square yard and .3 gal. at 5,' per square yard. After carefully considering these bids, it was moved, seconded and carried that the contract be awarded to A.O.Greynolds Company, Inc., on his bid of .3 gal.per square yard at 5 per square yard, same to be paid for when work is completed and accepted. It was ordered Wm. Yates, Fellsmere, be placed on the pauper list to receive the sum of $15.00 per month until further ordered of this Board. The several bills and accounts against the County having been audited, were exam - fined and found correct were approved, and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The warrants so issued, from the respective fonds, being listed completely in the County Finance Record, as provided by law, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes, as fully and completely as if the same were set out herein in detail.
