RESOLVIO, That the Tax Assessor in and for the County of Indian River, 6ta,te of
Florida, be and he is hereby directed to levy and assess all of the foregoing taxes as
fixed
and levied by this
Board upon the
property
as
levied and that
he extend
the
taxes
on the valuation of
such property
according
to
said millage as
fixed and
deter-
mined by this hoard on all the property subject to taxation in the said county of
Indian River, as to all taxes levied and intended to be entered on the assessment roll
under the head of county taxes and upon all property lying and being within the Distric
as described within the county of Indian River, as of the First day of January 1931.
RESOLVED further, that the clerk of the circuit court and clerk of this Board,
be and he is hereby directed to furnish to ie R. Dunoan, Tax Assessor of Indian River
vounty, a full and complete copy of the foregoing minutes in so far as the same relates
to the subject of levying taxes, describing boundaries, naming districts and etc.
RESOLVED, further, that the clerk and Auditor of the county be notified of the
amount to be apportioned to the different accounts out of the total taxes levied for
all purposes.
The Board of county commissioners hien adjourned, until Friday, September 11th,
1931.

The Board of county Commissioners in and for Indian River county, Florida, met at
the court House in Aero Beach, at 10 o'clock h.&.Friday, September 11th 19319 with the

following members of the Board present: .klbert v. helseth, chairman; J'.D.-Yongue; JOWO

LaBruce; .J.J.P.Hamilton and kli c *alker. Also present were ;piles 4arren, Llerk and
Clark s. Rice, 4heriff.
It me ordered that 420.00 per month be appropriated to take care of child now in
f
Jail with its mother until after the trial of the mother.
It
was moved by commissioner
talker, seconded
by
Commissioner Hamilton that
the
County
attorney be instructed to
defend the action
of
this board in reducing the
tag
millage rate on the ,Mtlantic-Gulf S'peoial Road & Bridge .District, Interest & .Sinking
fund, and the Indian Ismer mosquito control District from 6 mills to 3 mills tag for the
year 1931.
The clerk was Instructed to advise the City of Vero reach that the junk on the old
fair grounds is not int thee- uatody of the. County.
G.R.Olmstead, Tax Vollector appeared b;eford-the Board and requested payment of bill
V26.25 for telephone in his office from Jiovember 1930 to February 1931. Same was orderee
paid.
.There being no further business the Board then adjourned until -the regular meting
to be held in October 1931.
