The Board of County uomnissioners in End for Indian River county, Ylorida, met at
the Court House in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock A,M.`t'uesday, -uecember 1st 1931, with the
following members of the hoard present: Albert U. Helseth, Uhairman; J.D.Yongue; J.Yd.
LaBruce; T,J.P.Hamilton and Sli U. Walker. Also present were milesvvaarren, Clerk and
Clark 3. Rice, zheriff. .
The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.
The Road buperintendent reported that A.O.Greynolds Company, Inc., had completed
the sand asphalt road west of wabasso and on motion made, seconded and carried, same
was accepted by the Board* kill of the Greynolds uo. , for 04,326.66 was duly approved
for this work 1/2 of which is due in cash and the balance of 02,163.33 due from.coll-
ection on taxes extended on the 1931 tax roll.
Mr. Upthegrove, representing the State Game & Dish Department appeared and
inquired if the Board desired the removal of certain foul fish from the fresh waters of
Indian River County. No action being taken on the proposition.
J. D. Bohannan was granted authority and right to erect an oyster house on the
night -of -way of the North Gifford road Bast of nixie Highway at the Indian River in
consideration of which he will place oyster shells on the said road leading from the
River westward.
application having been made for the purchase of certain tax sale certificates,
it was ordered that same be sold, with the approval of the ..3tate Comptroller, for the
following amounts:
Cert. 512 sale of 1927 for 1926 taxes to be sold for §299.23
Cert. 942 sale of 1927 for 1926 taxes to be sold for 0 12.50
Cert. 944 sale of 1927 for 1926 taxes to be sold for 4 12.50
There being no further business on motion made, seconded and carried, the Board
then adjourned until the regular meeting to be held in January 1932.
