EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT
MEETING MINUTES
The Board of Commissioners of the Emergency Services District (ESD) met at the
County Commission Chambers, 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 18,
2014. Present were Chairman Peter D. O'Bryan, Vice Chairman Wesley S. Davis, and
Commissioners Joseph E. Flescher, Bob Solari, and Tim Zorc. Also present were County
Administrator Joseph A. Baird, County Attorney Dylan Reingold, and Deputy Clerk Maureen
Gelfo.
Chairman O'Bryan called the meeting to order at 1:29 p.m.

ON MOTION by Commissioner Solari, SECONDED by
Commissioner Zorc, the Board unanimously approved the
minutes of the November 5, November 19, and December
3, 2013 meetings, as written.
15.A.4. SIGNING OF WORK ORDER NO. 2 FOR FIRE RESCUE STATION 13 SITE
(4TH STREET AND 43RD A VENUE)
MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Solari,
SECONDED by Commissioner Flescher, to approve and
authorize the Chairman to execute Work Order No. 2 with
Barth Construction, Inc., for Design/Build Agreement
Phase IV of Fire Station 13.
Director of Emergency Services John King addressed Commissioner Zorc's question
about design conformity at individual fire stations.
The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the Motion
carried unanimously.
WORK ORDER ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD
ALL BACKUP DOCUMENTATION,RESOLUTIONS,AND ORDINANCES ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE
OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD AND ARE HEREBY MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES

There being no further business, the Chairman declared the Emergency Services District
meeting adjourned at 1:34 p.m.
