HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-002RESOLUTION NO. 91- 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR A HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM TO ASSIST LOW-INCOME FAMILIES AS ADMINISTERED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA'S DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has reviewed this proposal and has received the recom- mendation from the Executive Director of the Indian River County Housing Authority, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Chairman and the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners are authorized to execute the attached Application to the State of Florida's Department of Community Affairs for a Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG). The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Scurlock who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Wheeler and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: Chairman, Richard N. Bird • Aye Vice Chairman, Gary C. Wheeler Aye Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Aye Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye Commissioner Don C. Scurlock Jr. Aye The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 8 day of January, 1991.
