Quit Claim Deed
This Quit Claim Deed made this 14th day of June, 2017 between Indian River Farms Water Control
District, a water control district existing under Chapter 298, Florida Statutes, whose post office address is 7305
4th Street, Vero Beach FL 32968, grantor, and Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of
Florida, whose address is 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, grantee:
(Whenever used herein the terms "grantor" and "grantee" include all the parties to this instrument and the heirs, legal representatives, and assigns
of individuals, and the successors and assigns of corporations, trusts and trustees)
Witnesseth, that said grantor, for and in consideration of the sum TEN AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($10.00) and
other good and valuable consideration to said grantor in hand paid by said grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, does hereby remise, release, and quitclaim to the said grantee, and grantee's heirs and assigns
forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand which grantor has in and to the following described land,
situate, lying and being in Indian River County, Florida to -wit
A portion of Lateral "E" canal right-of-way, as shown on the plat of Indian River Farms Company
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 2, page 25, Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida,
more particularly described as follows:
All that part of the sixty (60) foot wide Lateral "E" canal right-of-way lying between the east line
of Tract 9, in section 23 and the west line of tract 12 in Section 24, all in township 33 South,
Range 39 East, as shown on said plat, lying South of the South right of way of sub -lateral E-7 (5`h
St. SW) canal and north of a line connecting the southeast corner of said Tract 9 with the
southwest corner of said Tract 12; all now lying and being in Indian River County, Florida.
Subject to any previous easements granted by Indian River Farms Water Control District over
above described parcel.
This conveyance is made in consideration of Grantee's representation and covenant that responsibility for drainage
conveyance and discharge into Grantor's primary drainage system and issuance of a permit therefor by Grantor.
Should Grantee fail to provide adequate drainage to the property conveyed hereby, then title to such property shall
revert to Grantor.
To Have and to Hold, the same together with all and singular the appurtenances thereto belonging or in
anywise appertaining, and all the estate, right, title, interest, lien, equity and claim whatsoever of grantors, either in
law or equity, for the use, benefit and profit of the said grantee forever.
In Witness Whereof, grantor has hereunto set grantor's hand and seal the day and year first above written.
