THIS SECOND AMENDMENT by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY
SERVICES DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as the "County", and the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
FIREFIGHTERS/PARAMEDICS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL 2201, IAFF, hereinafter referred to as the
"Union".
WHEREAS, effective May 16, 2017, the parties entered into a Collective Bargaining
Agreement, hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement", for the period October 1, 2016 through
and including September 30, 2019; and,
WHEREAS, effective July 3, 2018, the County and the Union mutually agreed to amend
Article 26.12 of the Agreement as follows:
26.12 Bargaining unit employees shall not be entitled to light or restricted duty for non -
duty related illness, injury, or condition (stwh—as not including pregnancy), except as
required by applicable law.
The remaining terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
