RESOLUTION NO. 95-121
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING ANIMAL CONTROL
OFFICER THOMAS DANIEL HAND TO ISSUE
CITATIONS.
WHEREAS, Section 828.27, Florida Statutes, allows County Animal
Control Officers under certain conditions to issue citations related to animal
control ordinances if the officer successfully completes a 40 -hour minimum
standards training course; and
WHEREAS, Animal Control Officer Thomas Daniel Hand has completed
such a course at the Valencia Community College on September 1, 1994, and
is therefore qualified under Section 828.27, F.S.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Animal Control
Officer Thomas Daniel Hand is hereby authorized to issue animal control
citations, pursuant to Section 828.27, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 302 of
the Indian River County Code.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert ,
and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Adams , and, upon
being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and
adopted this 19 day of September, 1995.
