RESOLUTION NO. 94- 3 3
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE INTEREST RATE
TO BE PAID ON CERTAIN DEPOSITS FROM
6% PER ANNUM TO 2.5% PER ANNUM.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 91-31, the County adopted certain rates,
fees, and charges for the Department of Utility Services; and
WHEREAS, because of changing market conditions it is now necessary to
reduce the interest paid on deposits held by the Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the interest
rate to be paid on deposits held by the Department of Utility Services
adopted by Resolution No. 91-31 shall be changed from 6% per annum to 2.5%
per annum effective on adoption of this resolution or at such later time as is
convenient to the Department in its interest calculations.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert ,
and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Ma c h t , and, upon being
put to a vote, the vote was as follows:
Chairman John W. Tippin Aye
Vice Chairman Kenneth R. Macht Aye
Commissioner Richard N. Bird Absent
Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye
Commissioner Fran B. Adams Aye
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and
