RESOLUTION NO. 94- 140
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE OF
REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the County and Timber Ridge both own 3.582 acres in
close proximity to each other; and
WHEREAS, the County and Timber Ridge are desirous of
exchanging said parcels; and
WHEREAS, Section 125.37. F.S., empowers the County to make
such exchanges,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
that:
1. The Chairman is authorized to sign all necessary papers to
effect the exchange of the following properties:
3.582 acres of County land located within the property
boundary of the Oslo Landfill West of Lateral "J" canal for
3.582 acres of land owned by Timber Ridge located West of
8th Avenue, S.W., South of the Oslo Landfill and East of
Lateral "J" canal.
The resolution was moved to adoption by Commissioner
Eggert and the motion was seconded by
Commissioner Adams , and, upon being put to a
vote, the vote was as follows:
Chairman John W. Tippin Aye
Vice Chairman Kenneth R. Macht Aye
Commissioner Richard N. Bird Aye
Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye
Commissioner Fran B. Adams Aye
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and
adopted this 1 day of November , 1994.
