A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
CANCELLING CERTAIN DELINQUENT TAXES UPON

PUBLICLY -OWNED LANDS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 196.28,
FLORIDA STATUTES.
WHEREAS, section 196.28, Florida Statutes, allows the Board of County
Commissioners of each County to cancel and discharge any and all liens for
' taxes, delinquent or current, held or owned by the county or the state,
upon lands heretofore or hereafter conveyed to or acquired by any agency,
governmental subdivision, or municipality of the state, or the United States,
for road purposes, defense purposes, recreation, reforestation, or other
public use; and
NB=REAS, such cancellation must be by resolution of the Board of
County Commissioners, duly adopted and entered upon its minutes properly
describing such lands and setting forth the public use to which the same are
or will be devotedi and
WMREAS, upon receipt of a certified copy of such resolution, proper
officials of the county and of the state are authorized, empowered, and
directed to make proper entries upon the records to accomplish such
cancellation and to do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of
section 196.28, F.S.=
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
C0MXB8IONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that any and all
liens for taxes, delinquent or current, against the property described in
O.R. Book 989, Page 1463 which was recently acquired by Indian River County
for right of way purposes on 45th street at the Northeast corner of Indian
River Boulevard, are hereby cancelled, pursuant to the authority of section
196.28, F.S.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Eggert ,
and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Tippin , and, upon being
put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye
Commissioner Fran B. Adams Aye
Commissioner Kenneth R. Macht Aye
The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
THIS SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED made this 5TH day of August, 1993, between GHA
GRANT) HARBOR, LTD, a Florida limited partnership (hereinafter the "Grantor"), and INDIAN RIVER
QOUNTY,; a political subdivision of the State of Florida (hereinafter the "Grantee") whose mailing
address is- 1840 26th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32980
WITNESSETH, that the Grantor, for and In consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars (=10.00)
and other valuable considerations, receipt and sufficiency being hereby acknowledged, hereby grants,
bargains, sells, aliens, remises, releasee, conveys and conrwma unto Grantee, and Grantee's heirs or
mtecessors, and assigns forever, all that certain land Situate in Indian River County, Florida, to wit:
A parcel of lend lying in Section 23, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, Indian
River County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows:
Commence at the Southeast corner of said Section 23, Township 32 South,
Range 39 East, Indian River County, Florida, thence 889°68'40"W along the
South line of Said Section 23 a distance of 436.93 feet to the point of beginning;
thence continue 889°66'40"W along the South line of Section 23 a distance of
461.47 feet to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of Indian River Boulevard
(200' wide); thence N28°41'34"W along the Easterly right-of-wey of Indian River
Boulevard a distance of 117.12 feet; thence S68022'27"E a distance of 86.10 feet;
thence N89 W40*E along a fine 60 feet North of and parallel to the South line
of Section 23 a distance of 431.68 feet; thence SOO°03'20"E a distance of 60.00
feet to the point of beginning.
Together with all hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise
appertaining.
To have and to hold, the Same in fee simple forever.
And the Grantor hereby covenants with said Grantee that the Grantor is lawfully seized of
said lend in fee simple; that the Grantor has good right and lawful authority to sell and convey said
land, and hereby warrants the title to said lend and will defend the same against the lawful claims
of all persons claiming by, through or under the said Grantor.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Grantor has mused these presents to be executed in its name by
its proper officers thereunto duty authorized, on the day and year firat above written.
