RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF JEFFREY R SMITH, CLERK OF COURT 4 G� INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FL BK: 3324 PG: 570 Page 1 of 1 8132020 8:49 AM ORIS PROCLAMATION DECLARING A LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN CONNECTION WITH HURRICANE ISAIAS WHEREAS, on July 31, 2020, Governor Ron DeSantis, in his capacity as Governor of the State of Florida, issued Executive Order Number 2020-181, declaring that a state of emergency exists in portions of the State of Florida (including Indian River County) by reason of Hurricane Isaias; and WHEREAS, pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the Code of Indian River County, and Resolution 2019-55 of the Board of County Commissioners, the County Administrator is authorized to declare a local state of emergency upon making a determination that a natural disaster has occurred or is imminent, requiring immediate and expeditious action, NOW, THEREFORE, in my capacity as County Administrator, I hereby (1) determine that, by reason of Hurricane Isaias, the threat of a natural disaster has occurred or is imminent, requiring immediate and expeditious action, and (2) declare that a local state of emergency exists in all of Indian River County, Florida, effective as of 8 a.m., on this 1 St day of August, 2020.
