HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-0281/24/90(ENG)MAT\gfk RESOLUTION NO. 90- 28 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CERTAIN PAVING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO 9TH AVENUE SOUTH OF 2ND STREET TO SOUTH RELIEF CANAL IN INDIAN RIVER HEIGHTS, UNIT 8 WHEREAS, on January 16, 1990 the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 90-7 providing for certain paving and drainage improvements to 9th Avenue south of 2nd Street to South Relief Canal in Indian River Heights, Unit 8; and WHEREAS, on January 23, 1990 the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 90-13 setting the date and time for a public hearing to discuss the advisability, costs and amount of the assessment against each property owner; and WHEREAS, this hearing was held on February 27, 1990 and no complaints were heard at public hearing, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. The foregoing recitals are affirmed and ratified in their entirety. 2. The attached assessment roll for certain paving and drainage improvements to 9th Avenue South of 2nd Street to South Relief Canal in Indian River Heights, Unit 8 is approved, pursuant to Section 11-47, Code of Laws and Ordinances of Indian River County. The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Scurlock who moved its adoption. The motion' was seconded by Commissioner Wheeler and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: Chairman Carolyn K. Eggert Vice -Chairman Richard N. Bird Commissioner Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Commissioner Gary C.
