Indian River County Board of County Commissioners fully supports the lighting study titled
"Demystifying Hatchling Disorientation: Identification of Light Sources and Potential Factors
Affecting Hatchling Disorientation" by Dr. Mariana Fuentes and encourages the Committee to
award this grant application. The County recognizes that the goals and aim of this study will
further advance the Indian River County Sea Turtle Habitat Conservation Plan. The County has
agreed to support the study by contributing staff time and the use of County equipment. Please
consider this contribution as match.
