TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND GUETTLER BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION, LLC
FOR PHASE 1 OF THE SECTOR 3 BEACH AND DUNE RESTORATION PROJECT
IRC PROJECT NO. IRC -1925
BID NO. 2021012
THIS is Amendment No. 1 is entered into on March 2nd , 2021, between Indian River
County (COUNTY) and Guettler Brothers Construction, LLC (CONTRACTOR).
WHEREAS, the County and Contractor entered into the existing CONTRACT dated
December 1, 2020 for the Sector 3 Beach and Dune Restoration Project (Project); and
WHEREAS, since the Project was put out to bid, Sector 3 experienced further erosion to the
beaches and dunes, creating the need for additional sand to be placed on the beaches and dunes; and
WHEREAS, due to the increase in the amount of work to be performed by the Contractor,
additional time will be added to the Contract; and
WHEREAS, the parties do agree to amend the CONTRACT to addresses changes in
"SECTION 00310 — ITEMIZED BID SCHEDULE", of the CONTRACT.
NOW THEREFORE, from and after the effective date of this Amendment No. 1, an
additional forty-five days shall be added to the Contract, making the completion date December 16,
2021; and
FURTHER, from and after the effective date of this Amendment No. 1, SECTION 00310 —
ITEMIZED BID FORM of the CONTRACT signed on December 1, 2020, shall be replaced with the
following AMENDED ITEMIZED BID FORM to reflect additional sand volumes required to
complete the permitted fill template for Phase 1 of the Sector 3 Beach and Dune Restoration Project:
