BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, personally appeared Affiant,Joseph E. Flescher, who
has been sworn and says that the following statements are true:
a) Affiant is the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County.
b) Affiant affirms that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County has the
authority under Section 973.04(2)of Indian River County Code of Ordinances, Section
162.06(4) and 162.09(1) Florida Statutes,to abate public nuisances deemed a serious threat
to the public health, safety and welfare by the Code Enforcement Board of Indian River
County.
c) Affiant affirms that on July 6th, 2021 at the duly noticed meeting of Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, the Board of County Commissioners voted to abate
the public nuisance found at 1262 15th Avenue,Vero Beach, Florida 32960, and to seek a
court order to enter upon private property and remove the junk, trash, and debris materials
constituting the nuisance.
