WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Florlda, has, by its
Resolution No. 510, requested the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, to release and convey to the City of
Vero Beach, Florida, that portion of the old wooden bridge across
the Indian River formtng a part of State Road 502, which said
bridge will become obsolete upon the crmpletion of the now con-
crete bridge across said river; and,
WHEREAS, this Board has heretofore, by Resolution,
requested the State Road Department to release said old wooden
bridge to Indian River County, Florida, when the same has been
approved by the State Road Department of the State of Florida
insofar as the same applies to said obsolete bridge lying Eastward
of a line 110 feet Eastward from the center lino of the center of
the swing pier of said obsolete bridge; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Vero Beach, Florida, has agreed to
accept and receive that portion of said bridge from this County
and to assume all responsibility therefor; Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith trans-
fer, release and convey unto the City of Vero Beach, Florida, all
right, title and interest in and to that part of said obsolete
wooden bridge lying; Eastward of a line 110 feet Eastward from the
center line of the center of the swirg pier of said obsolete bridge
provided only that this transfer is made contingent or, the issuance
of a Department of the Anny permit to the City of Vero Beach
authorizing it to maintain that part of said structure.
BE IT FURTIER RESOLV&;i) that a certiftod copy of this
Resolution be furnished to the City of Vero Beach and that a
certified copy thereof be furnished to the Department of the Army.
