BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
'Indian River County, Florida, that the rate of taxation necessary
to sleet the expenditures of the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September
30, 1953, pursuant to the budget of said Board as heretofore pub-
lished and approved, is as hereinafter levied and that the tax
rate as hereinafter shown and set forth be and it is hereby levied
on all taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for the
year 1452 with the rate herminaCter set out, to -wit -
1. In order to moot the estistated expenses of the
Oeneral Fund, It is d6ttrmined and is rebq dad axed that a tax rate
of Six (6) =ills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby :imposed.
2. In order to Meet the estitsatsd ezpenaes of the Road
and Br itdpa Fund, it is deterasir o d trAl hereby dselared that a tax
trans of One (1) Kalil upon tho dollar be levi®d and is hereby tm-
poseed. 1
3. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the line
and: Porfolture Fund, it is determined and hereby declarhd that a
tax rata of Sev€n- tantha (.7) mill upon the dollar be levied and
Is hereby Imposed.
4. In order to tz et the estimated expeasrss of the
Capital outlay Reserve Fund,, it to detsrraried and hereby declared
that a tax rate or one (l) sill upon the dollar be levied and is
hereby Imposed.
5. In order to provide funds to the Indian River County
Public Health Unit, it is determined and hereby declared that a
tax rate of One-half (1/2) mill upon the dollar be levied,
assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property lyir;g and
being in the County or Indian River, the proceeds of which when
collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of the State of
Florida for the account of the State Hoard of Health of the State
of Florida to be expended by said State Board of Health as pro-
vided by Chapter 154, Florida Statutes.

ceedings had as required by law preliminary to the levy of taxes
in Indian River County, Florida, for the year 1953; and,
WHEREAS, the respective Boards and taxing districts
being authorized to fix and levy taxes upon property situated
within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixed
such tax levies and have certified the same to the Board of County
Com,inalonere and this Board having accepted the ssoia and having

3. Estimates having been made by the Board of Commis-
sioners or the CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT,
and a certified copy of the Resolution filed with this Board, an
required by law and as estimated by said Board of Commissioners,
it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of One (1)
mill on the dollar be levied and Is hereby fixed and Imposed and
aspeaned for the Year 1953, on all of the property In the County
of Indian River lying and being within the toundarles cr said
Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District, the bound-
aries of said District being described as including all or the
County of Indian River,

redemption or bonds outstanding against Said Cotuity current school
ftind and representing indebtedness incurred prior t.,) the exemption
of said homesteads from taxes.
6. Estimates having been made by the said Board of
Public Instruction for TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. I and a certified
copy of said Revolution having been filed with this Board as re-
quired by law, and as estimated by said Board, being the rate or

River County, Florida, just and due taxation within the reso

collect said taxes and pay over the same and that a certified copy
Of this Resolution be furnished to the County Assessor of Taxes
