adopted:
tx'li=A S, under the provisions of Chapter 24045, maws of 1947,
as amended, all moneys from registration of airerafts is oollooted
by the Motor Vehicle Commissioner; and
AREAS, the not proceeds from these motleys after a deduction
for the necessary expenses of the Motor Vehicle Commission, is de-
posited to the credit of the Florida ;tato Improvement Cormniooion;
and
11HEREAS$ fifty (50%) per cent of the moneys col,lootod by
the counties is refundable to the counties; and
EdHM, EA5, under the provisions of Section. 1S of said hitt
it is provided that the funds paid to the counties may be expended
for general purposes by said counties, but the counties may desig-
nate the Florida State Improvement Commission as their agent to
expend said funds for aeronautical purposes within the county if
the county so desires, and
WHEREAS, in the judgment of this Hoard, and the Hoard does
so determine that the Florida State Improvement Commission is in a
better position to expend judiciously the countyvs share of the
funds for aeronautical purposes in this county,
NOW, TILUI RS, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missionors of Indian River , County:
