HomeMy WebLinkAbout1955-010WHEREAS, pursuant to law, an election is to be held in Special Tax School District No. 1, of Indian River County, Florida, on November 8, 1955; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County, Florida, has heretofore adopted a Resolution calling said election; and, WHEREAS, the School Code of the State of Florida provides that the Board of Public Instruction shalt designate the number of inspection boards for each precinct and appoint the inspection boards, and the General Election Laws of the State of Florida provide that the number of inspection boards for each precinct and the inspection boards shall be determined by the Board of County Commissioners; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County, Florida, in special meeting on September 27, 1955, has, by Resolution, determined the number of inspection boards necessary for each precinct, and has appointed the personnel of the inspection boards; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does hereby ratify, approve and confirm the number of inspection boards for each precinct and the personnel of the inspection boards heretofore determined and appointed by the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County, Florida, for the election to be held In Special Tax School District No. 1, Indian River County, Florida, on November 8, 1955; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board does herewith determine the number of inspection boards for each precinct and does hereby appoint the personnel of the inspection boards as heretofore determined and appointed by the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County, Florida, MITCHELL, SMITH A MkICHM, ATtOOKEYS AT tAW, YLAO BEACH, ftt}AIDA L� H �R_S_01. U -T I ON WHEREAS, pursuant to law, an ol"tion Is to be held In Special Tax Sclvl District No. 1, in Indian River County, Florida, on November 8, 1955; and, WHEREAS, this Board Iwo heretofore adopted a Resolution calling said election and has caused Notice of such election to be published In the Vero Beach Press journal, Vero Beach, Florida; and, WHEREAS, it is necessary to publish the location of the polling places and the names of the election officials for said election, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the location of the polling places, and the names of the election officials be as follows: Precinct Polling Place Precinct No. 1, Roseland Inspectors: Lester Hanshaw Community Building, Roseland Gladys Long Charles E.
