BE IT RESOLVED, That the County of Indian River has
invested considerable sums of money in fire fighting equipment
and equipment to maintain the county dumps and further that the
County is prohibited from making special levies for special
services, therefore we feel the request for dump custodian
cannot be granted. The Board will ask the county engineer to
increase the number of visits to the Roseland dumps in an effort
to keep the trash cleared.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Beard in its entirety
expects the cooperation of the Roseland den's Club, Roseland
Woman's Club and residents of the area: to cooperate in the use of
the clump in that all refuse be Flaked in the extremity of the
area in order to keep the approachroads clear of trash.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the. Board is grateful for
thkc suggestions that have been made and if anyone would like: to
take c<mre caf the dump for salvage rights, they may ego aon
Al Webber, Deputy Clerk,. asked that Resolution be adopted
for SLOP -Payment, on county warrant to the Ttxiaco Company, and upon

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Coc=issioners of Indian
Ri.=er County, Florida, that'tbe Indian River Citrus Hank, Vero Beach,
Indian river County, Florida,' is hereby duthorixed and directed to strap
payment on Indian River County warrant #247, dated December iS, 1960,
in the amount of SI4.40 to Texaco, Inc.,.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Board shell issue warrant in
replacement of same.
