WHEREAS, the Florida State Road Department has advised the
Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida,
that it is necessary to have a field and model study of Sebastian
Inlet made in order to locate the proposed bridge across said
inlet so that it will not impair the flow of water through said in-
let; and,
WHEREAS, :said Department has requested said Board to assume
one-half the cost of such study, said one-half being, $44750,00; and,
IMEREAS, said Board is of the opinion that such study is
necessary and that said cost thereof is reasonable, NOW, THEREFORE,,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners o
Indian River County, Florida., that said Board agrees to pay the
sum of $4750.00 toward the cast of a field and model study of
Sebastian Inlet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by said Board, that Florida State
Road Department be and it is herewith and hereby authorived to pay
such cost from Indian Riven County's secondary road funds now held
by said Department and, in order to properly budget the same, is
requested to reduce the 1962-1963 budgeted expenditure for Indian
River Boulevard, Section 88501, Job 1601, by the sma of $4750.00.
