that the tracks hauling such fruit are scarcely able to ge.t across and
clear such intersection, and
WHEREAS, the situation as outlined above will get considerable
worse as the coming tourist season develops and as the harvest of such
fruit develops, NOW THERFFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
River County, Florida, that the IFloriiia-State Road Department is res-
pectfully requested to investigate the above intersection and to install
a traffic light thereat.

Mr. Fred Sid," n, representing Rock Ridge citizens, appeared be-
fore the Board and presented a petition for changing the nrme. of 15th
street in.Rock Ridge and suggested that they would like to have it
changed to Pock ,Ridge Boulevard. after some discussion, motion was made
by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unani-
mously carried, that a Resolution he adopted changing; the name of 16th
street, East of 11. S. I and West of the Indian River, to Rock Ridge
Boulevard.
R E S D L U T I L N
4HEREAS, a majority of the residents of Rock Ridge in Indian
River County, Florida, have requested the Board of County Commissioners
of Indian River County, Florida, to change the name of that part of 16th
Street which lies East of D. S. Highway No. 1 and West of the Indian
River to Rock Ridge Boulevard, and
'1MEREAS, this Board is of the opinion that such change would be
beneficial to the residents of Rock Ridge in particular and tothe ci-
tizens of Indian River County, Florida, in general, NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the hoard of County Cofnmissioners of Indian
:liver County, Florida, that the name of that part of 16tb Street which
lies East of U. S. Highway No. l and West of the Indian ,River shall be,
and it is hereby changed to Rock Ridge Boulevard. y O
