RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, State Audit Report No. 5558 prepared by The
Honorable Bryan Willis, State Auditor, found, among; other
things, that the Hoard of County Commissioners of Indian
River County, Florida, had overpaid one Ptherine Morrison
in the sum of $56.90 for unauthorized travel expenses, and,
WHEREAS, on October 10, 1962, The Honorable Ray E.
Green, Comptroller of the State of Florida, directed the
attorney for the Board of County Commissioners ofIndian
River County, Florida, to enforce settlement of said Board's
claim against said Katherine Morrison for the amount stated
above, and,
WHEREAS, said attorney has advised said Board that
said Katherine. Morrison has moved away From Indian River
County, Florida, leaving no forwarding address, that lie
has made dillgent effort to locate said Katherine Morrison,
without being able to do so, and that, in his opinion, said
claim would be 1001% uncollectible even if the present where-
abouts of said Katherine Morrison were determined, NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT R1'SOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Indian River County, Florida, that: said Board finds and
dotermines that its claim against Katherine Morrison in the
sum of $56.90 for unauthorized travel expenses is uncollect-
ible because her whereabouts are unknown and cannot be ascer-
tained.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, subject to the approval
of the Comptroller of the State. of Florida, said claim be
settled as an uncollectible claim and that no further action
be takon with respect thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that two certified copies of
this resolution be sent to the Comptroller of the State of
Florida and that his approval thereof be requested.
