HomeMy WebLinkAbout1963-002RESOLUTM RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING ,AND ABANDONING ALL OF THE STREETS, ROADS, PLACES, AVENUES, AND RIGHT -O$ -WAYS OF FELLS MANOR, PLATS 1 and 2, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 1, PAGES 73 and 74, OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA ------------------------------ WHEREAS, proper petition was filed with the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to provisions of Sec.49, Ch. 29965, Laws of Florida, 1955, to close, vacate, abandon, discontinue, and eliminate the following: All of the streets, roads, places, avenues, and right-of-ways of FELLS MANOR, Plats 1 and 2, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Pages 73 and 74, of the Public Records of Indian River County, Florida, and WHEREAS, at the Public Hearing held on the 6 day of Jan a' r 19C 3 the Hon. Thad H. Carlton, attorney, appeared before the Board and stated sufficient and adequate reasons to show the Board that there was no need for the said streets and public right-of-ways as previously dedicated in the Plat of FELLS MANOR, Plat No. 1 and Plat No. 2, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have determined that it is to the best interest of the County to waive and relinquish any rights that the County may have to said roads, streets, places, avenues or right-of-ways by reason of the ,original dedication of said right-of-ways, streets, roads, avenues, etcetera, WHEREAS#' this matter coming on for hearing at this meeting, the Chairman called for objections thereto, and none were offered, filed or presented, uuw ornC" or rAuwiw S. umL Page $2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the above described roads, streets, places, avenues, alleyways and public right-of-ways, be and the same are hereby vacated, abandoned, discontinued, closed and eliminated, and the County does hereby disclaim any interest therein.
