WHEREAS, Robert P, IVIcLarty has niade as application to the
t rph of Engineers of the United States Arn-iy for a dredging pernilt in the

public waters of Indian River County; ntid,
s WHEREAS, this Board has reconanzended that the pernAt not be
tasUti; and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose of this Board to Iftnit and
confine dredging in the public waters of this county to tizose areas where there
will be a minimuni of disturbance of the botton-rs essential to conserve fish and
wild fife and to ItuAt such dredging to that which can be accomplishecl without
a deposit of harniful silt in the public waters; and,
WHEREAS, this Board is well aware of the fact that there can be
honest differences of opinion on the subject; Now, thcrefo-,M,

River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith publicly expreas its

high esteems for Robert P. 'NlcLarty and does recognize the contributions which

the natural resources of the State; mid,
BE I'I` FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Revolu-
