The Hoard of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
Florida, resolves:
1, That pursuant to the provisions of the resolution of this board
known as "Andy's Sanitation Service Franchise" anis "Rural Sanitation Service
Franchise, " each of the: holders of said franchises diet notify this limard in
writing that each desired to increase certain charges and rates heretofore
established and approved by this board in each of said franchises and cacti did:
set forth a schedule of rates and charges which each proposed. Based thereon,
this board dict direct that a public hearing be held on said requests and did
give notice by publication in the Vero Beach Press Journal, a newspaper pub-
lisped in this county, for one time: not more than one (1) nncxith not less than
one: (1) week preceding such hearing and certified proofof publication Of said
notice has been filed with s€tack board and the puldic hearing held and all
parties in interest heard.
2. That tach of said franchises is herewith amended In order that
cacti of the holders of each of said franchises shall have authority to c°]large
and collc:cL not to exceed Two Dollars Fifty Cents ($2.503) per dwelling per
month payable; niontlily for twice: weekly service rendered to a residence
beginning March t, 1968, and continuing until changed or incxiified as pro-
vided in said franchises, and all other rates and charges authorizcd by said
franchises shall remain as now established.
3. Pursuant to the provisions of SCC-tiOir 1,9 of eaeh epi "-II,,Iid
franchises, this board sloes herewith designate they place: of pickup for each
garbage receptacle shall be the place: determined by each customer served
by cacti franchise holder, The place of pickup by each franchise holder of
trash shall be designated by each franchise hoiden.
