RESOLUTION NO, 68-19
The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida,

resolves:
1. That the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State
11 of Florida have heretofore conveyed to Indian River County, Florida, a parcel
4X:11
of land in said County which has since been designated as Kiwanis - llobart
Park, to be used, maintained and developed by this Board as a public park. A
• portion of said lands situated in the Southernmost part of the park located in
Indian River County, Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
The Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section
4, Township 32 South, Range 39 East, less canal and less
parcel in the Southeast corner 662 feet Bast and West by
383 feet North and South;
has not been previously designated in the plan of development for any particular
specified use,
2. That the part of Kiwanis - Hobart Park described above is here-
with designatedRending ultimate development in accordance with the compre-
hensive plan/as a nature center to be posted to prevent hunting, with nature
trails and observation areas under the supervision and control of the Florida
Audubon Society, acting through its Pelican Island Chapter, with full power
and authority to go upon saki lands, erect signs so designating the same, con-
struct nature trails and observation areas and to generally create a nature
center for the use and benefit of the general public to continue until other con-
templated or required uses shall dictate the termination when signified by
resolution of this Board.
3. That a certified copy of this resolution be furnished to the
Florida Audubon Society and its local chapter, the Pelican Island Chapter.
