RESOLUTION NO. 68- W'7
WHEREAS, the County Auditor, after tentatively ascertaining the
proposed fiscal policies of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian Rivet
County, Florida, for the fiscal year commencing on the Ist day of October,
1968, and ending on the 30th day of September, 1969, did prepare and present
to the Board of County Commissioners a tentative budget for said fiscal year
for each of the funds therein as provided by law, including all estimated re-
ceipts, taxes to be levied and balances expected to be brought forth and all
estimated expenditures, reserves and balances to be carried over at the end
of the year; and,
WIIiRLAS, this Board did receive and examine sold tentative budget
for each fund and did require such changes to be made as the Board did deem
necessary and the auditor's estimate of receipts other than taxes and of

balances to be brought forward not having been revised, this Board did pre-
pare a statement summarizing all of the tentative budgets showing for each I
budget in the total of all budgets the proposed tax miliages, Clue balances, the 1
reserves and the total of each major classification of receipts and expendi-
tures classified according to the classification of accounts prescribed by the
Comptroller of the State of Florida; and,

Culver County, Florida, to -wit: In the issue: of the 6th day of August �

1968, of tate Vero Beach Press journal, as will more fully appear by proof of

publication thereof filed in the minutes of this hoard; and, !

WliLRliAS, this Board did meet at the time and place stated in said
advertisement for the purpose of hearing requests and complaints from the
public regarding the budgets and for the purpose of holding a public hearing
and making whatever revisions in the budget it may decin necessary, and all
of tete same having; been now completed; Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith tentatively adopt the
budgets for the funds of this Board for the fiscal year bcglnctinh C)ctoifer 1, .,
1968, and ending September 30, 1969, in the form'as heretofore
prepared and duly advertised, with the following exceptions,
to wit:

That the Estimate of Revenues and Receipts for the Capital
Outlay Fund be changed so that the item designated as Cash Bal -
anew to be Brought Forward be increased from $3,688.00 to
$57,834.75, and that the Total Estimatod Receipts and Balances
be increased from $12,888.00 to $66,034.75, and also,
That the Eativiated Expenses for the Capital Outlay Fund
under Acct. #88481 designated as Land Acquisition be increased
from $ 5,000.00 to $50,950.00, and the Total Appropriations be
increased from $12,500.00 tv$66,450.00, and the County Reserve
for Contingencies be reduced from $308.00 to $384.75, and the
Total Budget be increased from $12,086.00 to $66,834.75, and

in the office of the County Auditor as a public record and the County Auditor
shall transmit forthwith to the Comptroller of the State of Florida two code:
of each of the tentative budgets as adopted, certified by the Chairman of thin
Board and by the County Auditor as a true and correct copy of the budget as

BE IT I?UICI'l 1211 RESOLVED that said budgets as tentatively adoptc
by this Board shall be considered as finally adopted and as official thirty (36
days from the date the: budgets tire transmitted to the State Comptroller and

ler or when the State Comptroller shall make a certificate upon each of such
copies of the budget attesting its approval giving tile date upon which the
budget shall finally become official and effective, whichever shall first occu
