HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-048Upon a Motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: RESOLUTION +ro ."68- yr 4, Bi: IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the rate of taxation necessary to moot the expondituros:of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1969, pursuant to the budget of said Board as heretofore published I i and approved, is as hereinafter levied and that the tax rate as hereinafter shown and set forth he and it is hereby levied on all taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for the year 1968 jj i with the rate hereinafter act out, to -wit! 1. In order to moot the estimated expenses of the General Fund, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of two and fifteen hundredths (2.15) .......... mills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed, Z. In order to moot the eatimatod expenses of the Road and Bridge Fund, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of fifty-five hundroths (.5S) .................. mill upon the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed. 3. In order to moot the estimated expenses of the Fine and Forfeiture Fund, it is determined and hereby declared that it tax rate of nine tenths(.++J')..,...............„__..__..«.___.._....«. --------------------------------- mill upon upon the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed. d. In order to provide funds to the Indian River County Public Health Unit, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of two hundred twenty-four thousandths of a mill (.22.4)W -.,._--- upon the dollar be levied, assessed and„ is,hereby imposed upon all. property lying and being in the County ,of Indian River, the proceeds of which when collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of the State of Florida for the account of the State Board of Health of the , State of Florida, to be expended by said State Board of health as provided by Chapter 154, Florida Statutes.
