McCullers, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. 70-7
PRIMARY ROADS
WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation is now
preparing its budget for construction of the primary road system in
the State for the fiscal year 1970-1971.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida, is vitally interested in the improvement of the
primary road system in Indian River County, Florida; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith respect-
fully request the Florida Department of Transportation to include in
its budget of primary roads for the fiscal year 1970-1971 the following
projects in Indian River County:
1. Complete feasibility study for location and construction
of second bridge across the Indian River in or south of the City of
Vero Beach.
2. Construct a second bridge across the Indian River in or
south of the City of Vero Beach.
3. Complete right of way acquisition maps and folders -
Indian River Boulevard (Section 88501-2601) from SR 606 (Oslo Road)
to Hobart Road, Section 34, Township 31 South, Range 39 East.
4. Widen and reconstruct SR 605 (Old Dixie Highway) from
SR 60 (20th Street) south to the South County Line.
5. Widen and reconstruct AlA Highway to a four lane highway
with left holding lanes through the City of Vero Beach. Widen and
reconstruct AIA Highway to the South County Line.
6. Construct Indian River Boulevard (Section 88501-2601)
from SR 606 (Oslo Road) to Hobart Road, Section 34, Township 31 South,
Range 39 East.
7. Widen and reconstruct SR 60 to a four lane highway
from Indian River Drive to the Atlantic Ocean.
S. Widen and reconstruct SR 507 (North Road) from the
north City Limits of Fellsmere to the North County Line.
INTERSTATE SYSTEM
Complete I-95 through Indian River County and provide
interchange or access at SR 606 (Oslo Road).

I, Ralph Harris , Clerk of the Circuit Court in
and for Indian River County, Florida, and Ex officio Clerk
of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
Florida, hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and
correct copy of a resolution adopted by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Indian River County, Florida, in regular meeting
assembled on the 18th day of March, A.D. , 1970, and that the
same has been duly incorporated in the minutes of said meeting.
