HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-011,® RESOLUTION 70-11 WHEREAS, the General Services Administration of the United States of America has declaxed certain property owned by the United States of America in Indian River County, Florida, as surplus land (G. S. A. Control D- Fla. - 675) available for development of public parks and/or public recreational purposes, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commission of Indian River County, Florida, desires to acquire this property for the development of a public park to benefit all residents of Indian River County, and WHEREAS, the United States of America has established $17, 500.00 as a fair price for said land, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, resolves to purchase as soon as possible from the United States of America surplus land in Indian River County, Florida (G. S.A.
