(4-;ires to protect property values and conserve the values of buildings, desires to enrotiragu the most appropriate use of land, and WHEREAS, pending the passage of the new County Zoning Ordinance, the status quo should be preserved in so far as it is possible to do so, TilEI I;PORE, BE IT RhSOI.VE.I) by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, that public hearings shall be held as soon as possible on the proposed zoning changes and after September 1, 1970 and until the new County Zoning Ordinance is approved, no further trailer, mobile home or modular home permits will be granted for occupancy in R-1, R -IA, R -2A, R-2, R -3A, R-3, R-213. For the purpose of this Resolution, "mobile home, trailer -camper and modular homes" are defined as a single or multiple family dwelling designed for transportation, after fabrication)on public highways on its own wheels or a flat bed or other trailer to the site where it is to be occupied as dwelling. Upon arrival at the site, mobile homes are complete and ready for occupancy except for minor and incidental unpacking and assembly operations, location on jacks or permanent foundations, connections to utilities and other minor adjustments. -2- J
