the following Resolution was unanimously adopted:
® RESOLUTION 71-7
WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of Commissioners has
• through local gifts, public funds and through agreements with the
Florida Outdoor Recreation Council has acquired 489± acres in what
is now known as Kiwanis-Hobart Park, and
WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of Commissioners with
the assistance of Mr. Edward Hobart and the Kiwanis Club of Vero
Beach has expended funds for development of a portion of this park,
and
WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of Commissioners recog-
nize the need to further develop another portion of this park in
keeping with a general development plan for the entire park,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
does hereby endorse the further development of this park in the total
amount of fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars in accordance with the terms
of the attached agreement.
