BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County that the Supervisor of Elections of Indian River
County is directed to place on the ballot at the March 14, 1972
Presidential Preferential Primary Election in the Rock Ridge Subdivision
precinct the question of adoption or rejection of County Ordinance 72-2,
which ordinance would establish a special purpose district to be known
as "The Rock Ridge Street Lighting District" authorizing the special
assessment of up to 3 mills per dollar per annum for the purposes of
the district. All qualified electors residing in the Rock Ridge
Subdivisions are eligible to vote and the issue will be determined by a
majority of those voting.
