RESOLUTION No, 73--35
WHEREAS, ARNOLD RAMOS, District Lmgineer, Fourth District,
Florida State Department of Transportation, has submitted his
resignation to the Department of Transportation, and
WHEREAS, ARNOLD RAMOS, during his tenure as District Engineer,
from 1968 to the present, has set a high standard of excellence in
performance; has shown his devotion to creating a workable highway
system within Indian River County; and has shown great sensitivity
to public needs and desires, and
WHEREAS, ARNOLD 1W.11OS, has always endeavored to maintain a
close working relationship with this Board, and
WHEREAS, this Board acknowledges that the responsibilities and
recognition that came to him during his employment with the Department
of Transportation were a result of his superior ability and the
confidence this Board and the Department of Transportation placed in
him and his resignation will leave a void that will not be easily
replaced, and
WIiEREAS, many road projects of major importance were constructed
in Indian River County, with his help and cooperation, and
WHEREAS, this Board wishes to publicly acknowledge its appre-
ciation of his cooperation and hard work for this County;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Indian River County, that the Board publicly expresses
its appreciation and the appreciation of the citizens of Indian
River County to ARNOLD IulMOS for the outstanding manner in which lie
has guided and directed the Fourth District Department of Transpor-
tation office and his dedication to duty and public service and the
Board wishes him every succc:!ss in his future endeavors.
