On behalf of the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners, I wrote to you in March
2022 in support of a veto of Senate Bill 620. I write this time to thank you for your veto of this
bill. We understand how this bill would negatively impact counties, cities, and in turn our
taxpayers.
During your time in office, you have consistently provided a business -friendly environment in the
State of Florida. The veto of SB 620 further demonstrates your resolve to support reputable
businesses while reducing the risk of opportunistic behavior of a small minority of bad actors.
