RESOLUTION NO,77-63
WHEREAS, on September 25, 1974 the Board of County Commissioner
Indian River County, Florida appointed a BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE
e up of the following designated citizens:
MRS. IRENE MENSER
SAM T. JOYCE
J. B. EGAN, III
MRS. LAURETTA CRAIG
MRS. PATRICIA CALLAHAN
ANGELO SANCHEZ
WHEREAS, ANGELO SANCHEZ graciously served as Treasurer of
Indian River County BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE; and
WHEREAS, the BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE was charged with the
sponsibility of promoting and conducting Indian River County
tivities in cooperation with State and National Bicentennial
lebrations; and
WHEREAS, during the Bicentennial Year, Indian River County
,roclaimed the 200th anniversary of our Nation's founding with
reat display of patriotic spirit for the Country that we all
ove and cherish; and
WHEREAS, the Bicentennial year now having passed and the
ctivities of the BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE h-eing completed, the
itizens of our County desire to express their appreciation
o ANGELO SANCHEZ for the role played by him in organizing
lie numerous patriotic activities enjoyed by the citizenry
f Indian River County.
NOW, T1IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF COUNTY
ICOMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, on behalf of
tself and its citizenry, expresses deep appreciation to the
gntire BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE and to ANGELO SANCHEZ as Treasurer
for the many hours unselfishly spent by him on behalf of our
bounty to make the Bicentennial Year arid the celebrations enjoyed
therein such a great success.
